Running the T2Love Storefront

Problem
A seasonal fashion store needs its catalog updated, its product data kept accurate in two systems, launches shipped on schedule, and orders fulfilled, all year round.
What I did
I've run the T2Love Shopify store day to day since June 2023. That covers product uploads and data, wholesale inventory in Brandboom, 4–5 seasonal launches a year, promotions, and order fulfillment.
How I solved it
Built a Python tool for cross-platform product migration that cut processing time 75%. I recover and fix images missing from the wholesale export, and take every seasonal launch through the same steps.
Impact
Over the period I've run the store, online visitors rose 187% and orders 75% year over year. Total sales rose 44% between two comparable periods.

Overview

Since June 2023 I’ve run the T2Love Shopify store day to day. That means everything between a new collection arriving in the studio and a customer’s order going out: getting products into the catalog with the right data and images, keeping wholesale inventory current, launching each season, and fulfilling orders.

Catalog and product data

  • Upload 250+ new products a year to Shopify, categorize them, and link them to their collection pages
  • Update product detail pages with product photography and SEO keywords
  • Publish every image under its product’s SKU, so the storefront and the wholesale catalog refer to the same item the same way (the full image workflow is in Product Photography at Scale)

Fixing gaps before they reach the store

Product images reach me from Brandboom already SKU-named and on a white background. When one is missing from that export, I fix it myself. I go to the original file, crop it to the 1:1 catalog spec, replace the background with pure white in Shopify’s editor, and rename it to its SKU plus the specific color or pattern. That way it matches every other file in the catalog.

Automating the slow part

I built a cross-platform product migration tool in Python, which cut processing time by 75%.

Wholesale inventory

Alongside the consumer storefront, I enter and maintain T2Love’s inventory information in Brandboom, the platform the brand uses for wholesale.

Seasonal launches

Four to five times a year, a new collection goes live. Each launch follows the same steps:

  1. Photograph the incoming products
  2. Upload and categorize them in Shopify
  3. Update the landing and collection pages to feature the new season
  4. Announce the launch to the customer list by email

Order fulfillment

I manage the store’s online sales, including fulfilling orders as they come in.

Email domain security

I configured DKIM, DMARC, and SPF records for the store’s email domain. They make it harder for anyone to send phishing email that looks like it came from T2Love, and they help the store’s own email reach inboxes.

Results

I monitor the store through the Shopify dashboard, and the reporting covers the period I’ve been running it. Each window is compared against the equally long window before it:

Measure Change Period compared
Online store visitors +187% Jul 2024 – Jun 2025 vs. prior year
Sessions +147% Jul 2024 – Jun 2025 vs. prior year
Orders +75% Jul 2024 – Jun 2025 vs. prior year
Orders +57% Jan 2025 – Sep 2026 vs. Apr 2023 – Dec 2024
Total sales +44% Jan 2025 – Sep 2026 vs. Apr 2023 – Dec 2024
Gross sales +32% Jan 2025 – Sep 2026 vs. Apr 2023 – Dec 2024

The store also brought in 339 new customers between July 2023 and September 2026.

Traffic grew faster than orders, and orders grew faster than revenue. That’s the pattern you’d expect when promotions bring more people to the site and they buy smaller baskets.

Promotions and campaigns

I manage the store’s discount codes and sale periods, and create the email campaigns that go with them in Shopify Email: promotions, holidays, and new-season arrivals. The Halloween promotion below is typical: 25% off the entire order from October 24 to 31, 2025. The code is shown for customers who want to type it in, and a link applies it at checkout automatically.
